Luke Heggie is an Australian comedian, but not one of the blazer-wearing ones having his back slapped by satirists and humorists on TV shows. He works mainly as a live stand up comic, but not one of those ones who asks audience members their names and then proceeds to remind them what they look like, which is in very high demand due to the increase in self-obsession of rank and file members of the public. 

He is a raw and unapologetic live club act, working six or seven nights per week. When he's not doing that, he is writing and producing MID FLIGHT BRAWL with Melbourne's best comedian Nick Cody; a weekly podcast cataloging air rage incidents throughout the ages. 

Luke has dabbled in television, including the Just for Laughs Stand-Up Series filmed live at the Sydney Opera House for the Comedy Channel, Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala for both Channel 10 and the ABC, as well as ABC's Comedy Next Generation. He's also appeared on Question Everything and The Project. 

In 2022/23 Luke had a regular segment on ABC's The Weekly, turning his stand up into 3 minute sketches, including The unofficial evolution of masculinity, How to spot a pervert, Do kids have it too easy these days?, and Luke Heggie's had enough of holiday homes. 

Luke Heggie has released multiple hour long stand up specials including TIPRAT

I ALREADY TOLD YOU (2022 - Paramount +, ABC iView), and most recently GROT (2025 - Youtube) 

In 2024, he released a book IF YOU MUST KNOW. It's three of his shows, transcribed and illustrated. 

He has been touring shows throughout festivals and beyond for over a decade. In 2024, he took his show GROGAN to all the Australian comedy festivals and performed to sell out crowds, and followed it up with a 30 date regional tour. He's doing the same in 2025 with his new show YUCK.
